Job Description

Club Manager Snap Fitness Columbus is looking for an energetic and hardworking experienced manager, with strong leadership skills, to join our growing community! This is a role with many responsibilities all geared towards continuing to enhance a healthy and happy gym community. To be successful in this position, being personable must be an innate quality, as well as being passionate, motivated, an effective communicator and driven to notice and take care of the little things that make our gym community a great home for our members and employees. Our managers directly influence the culture and growth of our gyms. This role focuses on providing a clean and safe community environment, being a known presence in the gym, mastering the process of running and growing a gym, and creating a sense of community in the club as well as on social media to cultivate membership growth and retention. Membership Engagement Communicate with members regularly to keep them informed and engaged Attend to all member needs, concerns, complaints and comments in a timely and respectable fashion in accordance with club procedure Interact with and listen to members with a "member first" attitude Exhibit empathy and patience when dealing with member complaints; never run from a problem and view all complaints as opportunities Truly be invested in our members to be able to greet them on a first name basis, understand their fitness goals, provide guidance and value-added services to help them achieve results. Prompty reach out to members with failed membership payments and update payment information Prospect Management and Revenue Growth Responsible for achieving revenue goals established by leadership team Actively encourage gym growth through new membership sales, including gym tours, and existing member retention by focusing on Member Engagement Focus on selling personal training to both new and existing members to help members meet their fitness goals. Cultivate a relationship with Personal Trainers to ensure success of the training program and member results Organize and conduct events to build community awareness and drive new memberships Help brainstorm, implement and support company programs and promotions to ensure member, community and gym growth Daily Tasks Bring a positive energetic attitude Have a front desk presence to promptly respond to phone calls, voicemails, and emails from members and prospects as well as complete new member sign-ups. Implement, perform and complete standard operating procedures and policies, including tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), and identify areas for team improvement to ensure overall growth and success Proactively address negative KPI trends and promptly present plan for improvement to District Manager Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists; ensure gym and gym equipment meets and exceeds all quality and service standards throughout the day, every day. Administrative Intangibles Maintain an "owner's mentality" in safeguarding the current and future quality of the club and proactively managing the experience of its members A willingness to be coached and improve Thoroughly and independently reach solutions to problems and/or complaints posed by members or gym-related issues, communicate opportunities with leadership and other managers as needed to fostering a growing together as a team environment Cultivate a relationship with other Managers and team members to share best practices and win as a team Motivated to achieve revenue goals and improve club processes. Social Media liaison for the club and our Social Media accounts. You'll need to create content, request Google Reviews, and work with trainers to provide content. Represent the Club in the Community and make sure the Club is participating in all relevant Community events. Maintain the Club expense budget within company standards
