Role:
Teachers Credit Union is looking for a passionate and people-focused Member Service Officer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK! In this role, you'll be the face of our credit union — building meaningful relationships with members and helping them achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional member service by assisting with account inquiries, transactions, and financial needs Open and maintain member accounts including checking, savings, and certificate accounts Process loan applications and assist members through the lending process Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services Handle member concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and federal regulations Support branch operations including teller transactions and daily balancing activities
Requirements:
Prior experience in banking, credit unions, or financial services preferred Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of financial products including loans, deposits, and member accounts Ability to multitask and thrive in a member-facing, fast-paced environment Proficiency with financial software and basic computer applications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
