Job Description

Company Overview Hemlock Farms Community Association is a premier recreation community located in Lords Valley, PA. We are dedicated to providing exceptional amenities and services that foster a vibrant and welcoming environment for our members. Job Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the friendly face of our community, assisting members with their inquiries, memberships, and purchases. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a positive experience for all who visit or call our community center. Essential Functions of the
Job:
Answer telephone calls, respond to questions where possible or route call to appropriate staff member. Address dues bill and water bill related accounting questions. Accept and process all over-the-counter payments of residents coming into the HFCA Office. Act in a receptionist capacity for receiving visitors, notifying the individual with whom the visitor has an appointment and insuring their comfort while waiting. Assist residents with program signups, vehicle registration procedures, badge and handbook issuance, Cultural Arts events ticket sales, mailbox issuance, etc. Pick up, distribute, open and process office mail. Perform other related office duties as may be assigned from time to time
Competencies:
Knowledge of office practices and use of office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively and be customer-service oriented. Possess problem-solving skills. Knowledge of computer applications and word processing, particularly word and Excel. Experience Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse community effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with members and team members alike Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions and inventory management

Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit, stand and walk alternatively throughout the day and occasionally lift up to thirty pounds.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED). Experience in handling telephone calls and customer service. Experience to support the ability to responsibly perform assigned office tasks.
Certifications or Licenses:
