About Us We're a boutique gym in Waldorf, MD offering adult fitness classes and performance training for youth athletes. We're growing fast and need a friendly, organized, phone-savvy Booking Coordinator to keep our consultation calendar full. Job Summary The Booking Coordinator owns the first impression of our gym over the phone. You'll call and follow up with inbound leads and book them into consultations and tours — you are not responsible for closing sales or membership pricing conversations. Your job is to get the right person, at the right time, in front of our team. This is a phone-and-follow-up-heavy role — if you're organized, personable, and love checking things off a list, this is for you. Key Responsibilities Call, text, and email leads daily to schedule consultations, tours, and trial sessions Warmly answer basic questions about the gym and redirect pricing/sales questions to the consultation itself Maintain accurate, up-to-date lead records and follow-up schedules in our CRM/booking system (PushPress) Track and hit weekly/monthly booking targets (calls made, consultations booked, show rate) Follow up with past leads and no-shows to re-engage and rebook them Confirm upcoming consultations and reduce no-shows through reminder calls/texts Hand off booked consultations smoothly to the team member conducting them Represent the gym's brand and culture professionally in every interaction Qualifications 1+ years of customer service, phone-based, or scheduling/coordination experience (fitness industry experience a plus, not required) Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily Strong organizational skills; able to manage a pipeline of leads without letting people fall through the cracks Confident, friendly communicator who builds trust quickly Detail-oriented and reliable with follow-up Basic computer skills; comfortable learning CRM/booking software Availability to work some evenings and weekends (peak inquiry times) Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $17-$21/hour, based on experience Small incentive per completed/attended consultation booked (no sales commission — this is a booking role, not a closing role) Free gym membership Growth path into full-time scheduling coordination or, for those interested, cross-training into a sales/membership role
