JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective Perform routine member transactions. Provide exceptional member service. Answer phone calls & respond to voicemails as applicable. Effectively cross-sell Credit Union products and services. Assist Senior Member Service Representative and Branch Manager with any duties as assigned. Ability to work with or translate for non-English speaking members of the credit union. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Perform routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdraw- als, loan payments, transfers and check cashing. 2. Actively answer phone calls and respond to voicemails when not actively engaged with another member or responsibility. 3. Cross-sell all products and services offered by the Credit Union, meeting minimum sale and referral requirements. 4. Respond to members' requests, problems and complaints, and/or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance. 5. Provide routine information on Credit Union services or policies, including eligibility for membership, types of Credit Union accounts, current dividend rates, locations, office hours and telephone numbers. 6. Decision Making 6. Staff Development Supervisory Responsibility This position holds no supervisory authority. Work Environment Work is performed in a credit union environment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand and walk or maneuver around the branch. Duties may include lifting objects up to and possibly exceeding 40 lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m, and occasional Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Flexibility is required for early opening or late closing, based on the branch needs. Work from Home This position is required to work from the branch. The credit union may offer, on a rotating basis, the opportunity for members of the front line to manage communication lines from home, as desired.
