Job Description

Our busy fitness studio is looking for an energetic fitness sales assistant with great customer service skills. You should be enthusiastic about health and fitness and flourish in a setting that encourages you to achieve personal and team objectives. Our ideal applicant has a year of sales experience and can jump in and familiarize yourself with our health programs and workout equipment. You'll need to respond to prospects from social media inquiries, walk-ins, and member referrals. RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle members' issues professionally and objectively, to resolve them through exceptional customer service. Organize and manage promotion initiatives both inside and outside the studio Assist at our front desk by greeting everyone that comes in, answering phones, and talking to members Generate leads by various methods including doing outreach to prospective members by phone, text, email, and talking with prospects at local events and studio walk-ins Build the studio's member base through sales, onboarding new members, and exceptional customer service to maintain long-term customers
RESPONSIBILITIES 1
year of experience in sales or a similar role is highly desired Good organization and time management skills Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) are needed Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong computer skills are needed
COMPENSATION
Hourly:
$15 per hour Plus commission on personal sales
