The Junior Membership Advisor (JMA) is responsible for membership sales activities at VIDA Fitness. These activities include daily membership sales, corporate/residential/hotel/retail membership prospecting, marketing-related activities, and planning social events at the club. The JMA will foster a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive workplace with free-flowing information. The JMA will listen and ask questions while remaining mindful of tone and body language. The JMA will participate in ongoing DEI training to improve these skills, celebrate diverse perspectives, and ensure equitable access to resources. This position is a full-time position and the Junior Membership Advisor will report directly to the General Manager. This job description is not all-inclusive and all employees should refer to the Employee Handbook for further guidance. Specific Responsibilities:

1) Membership Sales

  • Generate leads by being active and engaged in the club and in the community. Convert leads to quality memberships by scheduling every new member's VIDAfit and selling the most appropriate New Member Package option. 2) Member Appreciation Days
  • coordinate all departments, activities, and vendors. Invite members and their guests at least one week prior to the event. 3) Community Events
  • setup tables at VIDA sponsored events 4) Social Events
  • plan Happy Hours, Mixers, Receptions, Networking Functions, and Fitness Classes inside the club and outside in the community 5) Setup member referral tables during peak hours and MAD. 6) Outside Networking
  • attend neighborhood and business association functions 7) Find local events, health fairs, street festivals, etc. to promote VIDA. 8) Identify and attend local networking functions. 9) Corporate Prospecting
  • develop strong relationships with existing accounts and identify decision-makers for all potential new accounts in your area 10) Convert walk-ins, telephone inquiries, and web-hits into quality memberships 11) Have prospects fill out Guest Information Card completely 12) Exceed individual monthly quota as well as monthly club goal 13) Recruit referrals at point of sale and add the Referral Link to your email signature.

14) Tell all new members about VIDA's Quarterly Member Experience surveys. 15) Record and send out the Daily Membership Recap. Include each members Interests, Goals, and Why. 16) Ensure all marketing materials for your club are properly displayed and up to date. This includes marketing materials on display at Corporate and Residential buildings. 17) Contact all members at 15/30/60/90 days. Membership Advisors should monitor visit frequency and ensure that the VIDAfit and New Member Package sessions have been completed. Remind members about their member referral privileges and ask for contact information. Invite all new members to our social events. 18) Review each Prospect's Trial workout experience with them before they leave the club and invite them to join. Every prospect that walks in the door should either leave with a membership or an appointment for their next visit. Plan out each visit so the Prospect has a plan in place. Send thank you emails to prospective members within 24 hours of their visit, confirming their next visit details with an Outlook invite. 19) End of the

all Membership Advisors work the last three days of each month if they are not on pace to achieve their individual & club quotas.
