ROLE OVERVIEW
Fashion Nova is seeking a stellarAssistant Merchandise Planner to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will be a critical driver of our growth initiatives, striking the perfect balance between independent ownership of product categories and seamless team collaboration. The ideal candidate brings proven e-commerce planning experience within the fashion industry, sharp analytical skills, and a knack for creative problem-solving. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Buying and E-Commerce Site Merchandising to link financial results to daily/weekly performance.
Inventory Management:
Review receipt flows and aged inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, maximizing sales while minimizing liabilities.
Promotional Strategy:
Execute best practices for promotions, markdowns, and clearance strategies to optimize margin and sell-through.
Process Alignment:
Align Buying and Merchandising strategies with overall e-commerce business plans, identifying custom reporting needs and process improvements.
Data IT Integration:
Partner with Applications and IT teams to build, deliver, and refine custom business reporting tools.
Team Support:
Provide comprehensive operational and analytical support to the broader Planning team.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
1+ years of dedicated experience as an E-Commerce Planner ( Required ).
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Domain Expertise:
Proven experience across Inventory Control, Allocation, Merchandising, Demand Forecasting, and Financial Planning/Analysis.
Education:
BA/BS degree preferred.
Mindset:
A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Communication:
Strong English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. English, additional language(s) an advantage Schedule of this position: Monday - Friday | Core business hours | Onsite in Beverly Hills
