ABOUT THE CLUB
Catta Verdera Country Club is nestled among the rolling hills and woodlands of Northern California. The privately owned Members-Only club rests within a stunning 335-acre valley, complete with gentle streams, natural Oaks, Buckeyes, Ponderosa Pines and granite outcroppings. REPORTS TO
| Head Golf Professional MANAGES | Golf Shop Inventory, Special Orders, Rep and Account Relations and Pre-Book, The Golf Shop Merchandiser will work closely with the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day professional shop responsibilities. The position is responsible to manage the Golf Shop, to maintain inventory levels and assist in the buying of all merchandise. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all members. Experience Required
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience at a private club steeped in the traditions of the game is preferred, but not required. Present a professional image that resonates throughout the team. Strong computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft products, Foretees, EZ Links/Jonas, Golf Genius, and other golf or number related software. Organized and proficient in retail management and full understanding of checks and balances to help promote a well-run Golf Shop. Essential Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Golf Shop. Assist Golf Staff with all opening and closing procedures. Establishes merchandising plans, implements action steps, and adjusts plan based on progress towards goals. Works closely with the accounting office on accounts receivable and accounts payable issues. Oversee facility tournament operations including weekly events. Conduct inventory counts on a monthly and weekly basis. Assist Head Golf Professional with buying, rep relations and attending trade shows when necessary. Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills. Experienced in written and oral business communications with experience in budgeting. Fully responsible for inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders including ordering procedures, receiving procedures, inputting into point of sale, pricing procedures, display, and sales. Be involved in planning and budgeting for the Golf Shop. Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintaining a professional image. Benefits

COMPENSATION
Base Salary:
$36,000-$45,000 (based upon experience).
Potential Tournament/Golf Shop Service Gratuity:
$5,000.
Total Potential Annual Income:
$50,000
