Build the Brand from the Ground Up with Von Funk Company Overview Von Funk is a regional Direct Store Delivery (DSD) vendor taking a grassroots approach to the candy industry. We aren't about corporate layers; we are about reliable service and building our brands from the ground up. We supply packaged candy products to Walmart Supercenters , and we are looking for a dedicated partner—a "Candy Man" or "Candy Woman"—to own their route and grow with us from day one. Position Summary The DSD Route Merchandiser is responsible for the delivery, check-in, and merchandising of our product. You'll own the 4x4 candy table at assigned Walmarts, ensuring it's stocked, organized, and ready for customers. This is a perfect role for a retiree looking for a steady, active routine or a young, hungry professional ready to jump into a startup environment.

Schedule & Compensation Schedule:

2-3 days per week (Immediate Start).

The Route:

Approximately 4 stores per day Between Palm Coast and Deltona.

Compensation:

$50.00 per store (Piece-rate pay).

Note:

This rate covers all service and travel time between stores. Total compensation is guaranteed to exceed Florida minimum wage requirements.

Weekly Estimated Pay:

~$400.00.

Key Responsibilities Direct Store Delivery:

Transport product using the company-provided delivery van .

Receiving:

Check in deliveries with Walmart receiving personnel, verifying all quantities against invoices and delivery paperwork.

Grassroots Merchandising:

Stock the 4x4 table according to planogram, face and rotate product (FIFO), and maintain a clean, professional shelf presentation.

Reporting:

Provide photo documentation of completed displays and report any inventory discrepancies or damaged product via company SOPs.

Professionalism:

Represent Von Funk by following all Walmart vendor policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications Reliability:

You are punctual, detail-oriented, and take pride in "owning" your route.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift (standing, bending, lifting).

Clean Record:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for company van insurance).

Independence:

Comfortable working solo and managing your time efficiently.

Eligibility:

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Equipment & Classification Employment Type:

Part-time, W-2 Employee (At-will).

Vehicle:

We provide the delivery van; you provide the effort. The van is for business use only.
