The ability to play and talk about the game intelligently with our customers is a must. You do not have to be a great golfer but you need to play the game to have the working knowledge to get started in this industry. We are seeking a motivated, intelligent person who plays golf and wants to learn more about the industry who can help drive sales in our shop. Our customers demand excellent service, top quality repair work, and industry leading custom club fitting. To apply for this job you should feel confident in your ability to: Work hard Learn quickly Be able to stand on your feet for most of the work day Learn and master multiple aspects of the retail operation - merchandising, product knowledge, custom fitting, golf club repairs, shipping, receiving, freight, cleaning, sales, social media and more. This is not a job for weak people or people who are just wanting a paycheck. Those people try and fail in this environment. We have found that 1 out of 5 people we have hired over the past 5 years work out and the other 4 don't. Can you be the exception? We offer competitive pay and levels of learning and growth with pay raises. We offer a bonus program that rewards hard work and teamwork, We do not offer you a place to sit around, take it easy, barely work, and somehow magically get paid. That will not happen! We are not a retail store in the traditional sense. We are more of a boutique fitting studio, build/repair shop, and have a small retail section. This is not big box retail. This is a personal service golf shop. The right person will eventually make a base salary of $50,000 plus bonuses. The best of the best will make even more once they have mastered all aspects of the business and are a valuable asset to the company and to the clients we serve.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
