We seek a Part-Time Sales Associate in our Suwanee location. As our business expands, we want to add individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are positive and professional problem-solvers motivated to do whatever it takes to serve our customers and work to maintain the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays. As one of the first team members our customers are greeted by at Outrageous Interiors + Design, associates work closely with customers in-store to help them achieve the #OutrageouslyChic design experience. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in the store, understanding their vision and goals for their home and helping them to achieve it Ask probing questions to understand the customer's needs and demonstrate selling behaviors by recommending, selecting and helping locate merchandise for customers Prepare and process new products for the sales floor and merchandise the products on the sales floor, continually looking for displays to improve and enhance throughout the store Maintain and update the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays as new products arrive weekly Take initiative and jump into new tasks daily, based on the needs of the company Operate POS system to process payments Share with all customers design service offerings - from in-home design to in-store complimentary design Qualifications Previous retail or sales experience Passionate about communication and interacting with new people regularly Enthusiastic attitude and passionate about teamwork and client satisfaction Comfortable standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays Take initiative and jump into new tasks daily, based on the needs of the company Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, and stock management tools.
