Retail Merchandiser

Koha Foods is one of Hawai'i's largest Asian and specialty food distributors, proudly serving restaurants, supermarkets, and local retailers since 1984. Alongside national and regional brands, we produce our own line of gourmet Korean food products and local favorites enjoyed throughout the islands. We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our growing team. This role is responsible for ensuring products are stocked, organized, properly displayed, and ready for customers at retail locations across O'ahu. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, building relationships with store personnel, and taking pride in maintaining attractive, well-stocked displays. What You'll Do Build, maintain, and refresh product displays at assigned retail locations Stock, rotate, and replenish products from back stock to sales floor Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs Verify pricing, shelf tags, and promotional signage for accuracy Remove damaged, expired, or unsaleable products Identify merchandising opportunities and communicate recommendations to management Develop and maintain positive working relationships with store managers and retail staff Represent Koha Foods professionally at all customer locations What We're Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and manage a daily route Basic computer and Microsoft Office proficiency Reliable smartphone for business communication Reliable vehicle with current insurance Positive attitude and strong attention to detail Ability to lift and move products as needed throughout the workday Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous merchandising, retail, grocery, or customer service experience preferred Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DBIDS) credential to access military installations for assigned merchandising accounts Why Join Koha Foods?
