Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of our products and ensuring that our retail space is organized and inviting. This position requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with store management and other team members. Duties Execute merchandising strategies by implementing planograms and schematics to optimize product placement. Supervise and train staff on merchandising techniques, store management practices, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop visual designs that align with branding initiatives. Conduct inventory management, including stocking shelves, managing product displays, and ensuring accurate pricing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space to create an inviting shopping environment. Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating promotional materials and visual displays. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and assisting with product selection. Monitor sales performance and provide feedback on merchandising effectiveness to improve overall store performance. Experience Proven experience in retail sales or merchandising roles, with a focus on customer service. Supervising experience is highly desirable, along with strong leadership skills. Familiarity with inventory control systems, POS operations, and cash handling procedures. Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies and sales analysis. Experience in training & development of team members to enhance their skills in merchandising and customer interaction. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. Background in interior design or visual merchandising is advantageous for creating appealing displays.
