Job Description

Job Summary As a retail chain merchandiser, you will be ensuring that a proper level of stock is maintained, and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement. This includes setup, display execution, as well as the stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating of the manufacturer's products. Audits will be performed regularly, and it is the responsibility of the retail chain merchandiser to resolve issues that may arise because of these audits and solve problems at the store level to maintain the standards established in the initial sales agreement. In addition, you will be participating in store resets, where applicable. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan time and account calls to ensure achievement of company and supplier distribution, displays, and promotional objectives. Merchandise shelf, display, and cold box consistently and look for opportunities to grow business. Maintain strong relationships with established accounts to maintain and increase the business within their establishment. Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to improve product visibility and sales performance. Illustrate competency and familiarity with all Federal, State, and Local laws regulating the beverage alcohol industry. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must have valid Driver's License Must have own reliable transportation and proof of insurance Competencies, Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1+ year in the Beverage Industry preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to stand for long periods of time regularly Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and consistently Ability to bend and reach regularly Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full Time Flexible hours required including early mornings, evenings or weekend hours. Additional hours during peak busy season of October, November, and December. Travel Must be able to travel as required The compensation for this role is determined by the current collective bargaining agreement. During the first year of employment, associates in this role will earn $20.00 per hour (paid weekly). After one year of employment, employees will earn the current rate as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement. After meeting eligibility requirements, employees will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, pension, and disability and life insurance benefits through the union. After one year of employment, will be eligible to participate in the 401k with an employer contribution. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation.
