Job DescriptionPosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated college student to join our Water Merchandising team for the summer. In this role, you will support the data entry and processing of merchandising display order requests, helping to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in merchandising operations, order management, and business systems in a fast-paced environment. It also serves as a short-term opportunity to improve our order entry and follow-up processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesLearn and support the current order entry processPartner with subject matter experts to review and analyze existing processesHelp identify and align on opportunities to streamline the order submission processDevelop updated process documentationSupport training and presentation of updates to the HOFR US Sales teamQualificationsRequiredCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data entry tasksProficient typing skills with a focus on speed and precisionComfortable working with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsReliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work in a team environment and collaborate cross-functionallyPreferredExperience with SAP or other enterprise order management / ERP systems is a strong plusPrior experience in a customer service, administrative, or data entry roleFamiliarity with retail, wholesale, or merchandising operationsMajor or coursework in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related fieldAdditional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. Hiring Pay Range:
$33,300 USD - $45,760 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
