Job Description

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a Traveling Retail Merchandiser to support Retail Operations across multiple store locations. In this role, you'll execute planograms, set and maintain product displays, complete category resets, and ensure on-shelf availability to drive sales. You will regularly travel between assigned retailers, collaborate with store teams, and use mobile tools to report results. Responsibilities Travel to assigned retail locations to execute merchandising programs and planograms Set and maintain product displays, signage, and shelf layouts to drive sales Perform category resets, stock rotation, and inventory checks Ensure planogram and promotional compliance across assigned stores Communicate with store management and internal teams on project status and issues Collect basic in-store data and report findings via mobile tools or online systems Maintain clean, organized, and accurate product sections Follow company and retailer safety and operational standards Manage schedule, routes, and priorities to complete assignments on time Support special projects, new product launches, and seasonal resets as needed Required Skills Retail merchandising Planogram reading and execution Category resets Inventory management Planogram compliance auditing Point-of-sale (POS) basics Retail data/analytics familiarity Use of handheld/mobile devices Time and route management Basic reporting and documentation
