Role:
Hancock's of Paducah is looking for a detail-oriented Web Merchandiser/Image Specialist to join our creative production team. You'll play a key role in bringing our extensive collection of quilting fabrics and sewing products to life online — capturing product images, organizing them on the site, and keeping our catalog fresh and well-presented. The right candidate is highly organized, efficient, and takes pride in consistent, quality work.
Responsibilities:
Product Photography:
Capture professional, color-accurate photographs of quilting fabrics, pre-cuts, kits, and related products for e-commerce listings, promotional materials, and social media.
Flatbed Scanning:
Operate high-resolution flatbed scanners to digitize fabric yardage and swatches, ensuring precise color matching.
Editing & Optimization:
Retouch and prepare images using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator) for website, and marketing use.
Time Management:
Prioritize and process large daily workloads efficiently while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
File Management:
Organize, label, and archive digital assets using SKU-based naming conventions and internal file organizational structure.
Requirements:
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) on a Macintosh/Apple environment. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. Ability to learn BigCommerce quickly and maintain product listings, categories, and overall catalog organization with accuracy and consistency.
