Job Description
The Retail Odyssey Company is hiring a Traveling Retail Merchandiser to support Retail Operations across multiple store locations. In this field-based role, you'll execute planograms, product placements, and display resets to optimize in-store sales and presentation. You'll travel regularly, collaborate with store teams, ensure accurate pricing and on-shelf availability, and report results using mobile tools. Responsibilities Travel between assigned retail locations to execute merchandising projects Implement and maintain planograms, displays, signage, and shelf standards Ensure on-shelf availability, correct pricing, and accurate product placement Complete resets, new item cut-ins, and promotional displays on schedule Communicate with store management and teammates on project status and opportunities Capture required data, photos, and reports using mobile tools Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to drive sales Follow company and retailer safety and operational guidelines Required Skills Merchandising Planogram reading and execution Retail math and basic analytics Inventory management Point-of-sale and retail systems familiarity Time management and route planning Visual merchandising and display building Communication with store management Problem-solving in-store issues Use of mobile devices and merchandising apps
