Sales & Merchandising Beverage Brand Advocate Part Time

Bing Beverage, a family-owned and operated beverage company based in Denver, is looking for a resourceful, energetic Sales & Merchandising professional to help grow our presence in grocery stores that carry our products. In this role, you'll be the face of the Bing Beverage brand at retail. You'll build strong, positive relationships with grocery store teams, identify ways to increase sales, and create eye-catching merchandising opportunities that help our beverages stand out. Experience in B2B sales is very important, preferably with a consumer-packaged good brand. Performance bonuses are available two to three times per year, based on your accomplishments. What you'll do: Support sales growth by identifying opportunities for better product placement, displays, and merchandising. Suggest creative ways to showcase products and improve visibility in stores. Help ensure our beverages are well-represented, well-stocked, and easy for shoppers to find. This position is for part-time weekday employment, averaging about 25 to 28 hours per week / 4 route days per week, 7 to 8 hours per day. The four days you choose are flexible and you may work Saturdays if desired. Suggested start time is 8:00 am or earlier although there is flexibility. You will enter the store visit results in our customer database using an App (we use Salesforce) on your cell phone.

Territory:

You will have a territory, broken into smaller daily routes, originating from your home. We pay for all mileage starting and ending at your home so living close to the area described below is important: North of Boston near Hwy 95 at Hwy 93 is ideal, but and as far north as Andover or Lowell is still convenient. One overnight trip every 6 to 8 weeks may be needed to visit stores in outlying areas.

Qualifications:

One year B2B sales experience. Must enjoy working independently with coaching from our sales management group in Denver and Washington DC. Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record (2 or less minor infractions over 5 years), and reliable transportation. You must pass an abbreviated background check.
