Produce Merchandiser/Backroom Support Fruit Center Marketplace - Milton $18-24 an hour
Job Type:
Full-time Full Job Description Fruit Center Marketplace is a family-owned specialty food store known for high-quality products and outstanding customer service. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic customer-focused associate to join our team. As part of our produce team, customer service and product knowledge are your top priorities. You'll work closely with team members to create a fresh, high-quality shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs effectively.
  • Be able to work efficiently and purposefully in a fast-paced team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Customer-oriented service is a priority, to be able to answer questions and fulfill requests in a pleasant manner, in person or on the phone.
  • Communicate with other team members to keep produce operations running smoothly
  • Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties.
  • Learning about, filling, and merchandising products in the aisle.
  • Unloading delivery trucks.
  • Backroom trimming, cutting, preparing, packing, and pricing products for sale.
Qualifications:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
  • Ability to take direction and respond well to coaching
  • Be able to lift and carry 25-50lbs repeatedly and often.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week with weekend availability
  • Some evening shifts required (store closes at 7 PM) Available till 7:30PM
  • Holiday availability required
