Responsibilities include inventory control, maintenance of back room and floor, training and supporting of Produce Team Members. Candidates must be prepared to think, learn and contribute all while consistently communicating and modeling the Better Health Market vision and goals.
Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution. Assist in interviewing, training, development and counseling processes of all Team Members in a manner which builds and sustains a high performing team. Establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages high team morale and merchandising creativity. Train Team Members in proper product handling and storage, stocking, ordering, equipment operation, building displays and product rotation. Manage inventory and pricing to achieve required margin and labor targets. Develop and maintain a creative store layout and product merchandising Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices. Follow and comply with all organic standards as they relate to cutting, preparing, displaying and storing. Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

Create and build attractive displays that are appealing to our clientele with a strong focus on seasonality. Demonstrated ability at mentoring others. Strong organizational skills. Available to work flexible schedule including a minimum of one closing and weekend shift per week.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of Produce experience with leadership responsibility. Passion and knowledge of Produce. Clear and effective communicator.Exceptional merchandiser. Creative and self motivated. Ability to sufficiently calculate margins, profitability and inventory. Clearly price and sign product.
