About the role The Merchandising/Pre-Sell Representative is responsible for executing in-store merchandising strategies that drive sales growth, strengthen brand presence, and ensure consistent product presentation across assigned retail locations. This role serves as a key liaison between the Company and store-level partners, supporting product visibility, inventory management, and promotional execution while providing market insights to inform sales and marketing initiatives. The Merchandising/Pre-Sell Representative works independently in the field while collaborating closely with internal teams to support overall business objectives. What you'll do Execute merchandising plans and strategies to drive sales performance and enhance brand visibility. Set up, maintain, and refresh product displays in accordance with established planograms and merchandising standards. Ensure products are properly stocked, rotated, priced, and faced to maintain optimal shelf presentation. Build and maintain positive working relationships with store managers and store-level staff. Train and support store personnel on product knowledge, merchandising best practices, and sales techniques. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs or concerns to management in a timely manner. Conduct routine store visits to assess compliance with merchandising standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns. Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, competitive activity, and customer preferences. Qualifications High School Diploma (or equivalent) Prior experience in retail sales, merchandising, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in C-store, food or dairy industry preferred Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining accountable for results. Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to guide, influence, and motivate others. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate product placement, pricing, and brand presentation.
