Retail Associate - Merchandiser

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Keeping up to date on current prices in retail stores, while also ensuring that items are being priced correctly according to DFG's cost and the retail value. Merchandise inventories to fully stocked conditions as needed. Maintain an excellent work environment by keeping shelves, display cases, and workstations clean and organized. Receive products in accordance with company delivery protocol. Create signs & labels according to Discount Freight & Grocery standards. Safely and efficiently operate a manual and electric pallet jack. Promote a culture of safety by leading, teaching, and reinforcing all company safety standards. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
EDUCATIONAL, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
