A Merchandiser assists with marketing or promoting merchandise in a retail store. Advises on trends and styles; designs and creates merchandise displays in a store, to generate or improve customer sales. Works with sales associates, merchandise managers and product vendors. Monitors customer preferences and sales data.

Position Summary:
Responsible for product merchandising within wholesale food service accounts. This includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, moving products from storage to the sales floor, and assisting customers. ____________________________________________________________________________

10 am, 8 hours

7 am, 5-8 hours
Compensation:
$23.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement Discretionary Quarterly bonuses PTO / Paid Holidays Mileage reimbursement at $0.72/mile Drive time is paid at hourly rate. 401k with matching up to 6% (100% on the first 3%, 50% on the next 3%)
Essential Functions:
Maintain product on store shelves by ensuring appropriate inventory levels and proper product rotation Transport product from backroom to display floor with manual equipment such as pallet jack or flat cart Audit packing list, report discrepancies and return damaged or defective products Build and maintain promotional displays Use hand held devices to input/submit orders Service accounts during designated times established by management Provide exceptional customer service and work closely with personnel Responsible for appearance and cleanliness of accounts Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Minimum Qualifications:
18 years or older Valid government-issued identification Maintain a clean and neat appearance Regular, reliable, predictable attendance Ability to operate under minimal supervision Must have personal vehicle, current driver's license and vehicle insurance. Ability to pass a non-THC drug tests, motor vehicle record check and acceptable background check.
Education and Experience:
Merchandising or equivalent work experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lifting, loading, pushing and pulling products weighing upwards of 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds Climbing stairs or ladders, as well as walking, squatting, kneeling, bending or reaching while merchandising and moving products Be exposed to loud noise and machinery, plus able to judge distances and read signs; therefore, hearing and vision are required Be exposed to cold or heat while performing job duties Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Travel:
Required daily driving (personal vehicle) to access multi-store locations within assigned shift. May include driving in the dark especially in winter months. Mileage is reimbursed, to-and-from store location. Must have valid driver's license, plus current insurance at all times on your vehicle(s).
