This role ensures that products, inventory, and sales environments are organized, accurate, and ready for execution across sports and entertainment properties. Working closely with the Vice President of Merchandise, the Merchandise Coordinator helps maintain operational consistency by supporting inventory management, Shopify administration, retail setup, and event readiness. Success in this role is measured by attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to keep merchandise operations running smoothly across multiple locations and events. Key Responsibilities Retail & Event Operations Assist with merchandise preparation and setup for games, events, pop-ups, and activations Maintain clean, organized, and professional retail spaces aligned with brand standards Support point-of-sale readiness, inventory stocking, and event-day execution Provide on-site support during events, including setup, sales assistance, and post-event reconciliation E-Commerce & Online Store Support (Shopify) Manage and update product listings, pricing, descriptions, collections, and inventory levels within Shopify Maintain accurate merchandise content across digital channels Support product launches, online promotions, and presale activations Assist with maintaining online merchandising standards and product organization Inventory Management & Logistics Receive, organize, tag, and track merchandise inventory across retail, events, and storage locations Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and reconciliations Coordinate product movement between facilities, retail locations, and events Assist in maintaining organized storage systems and inventory documentation Support efforts to reduce shrink, improve accuracy, and maintain operational efficiency Data Tracking & Administrative Support Maintain inventory logs, product tracking sheets, and sales data within Excel or Google Sheets Assist with organizing vendor invoices, purchase records, and product documentation Support tracking of merchandise performance metrics and sales trends Provide operational support for forecasting and planning processes led by the VP of Merchandise Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing on product launches, promotions, and campaigns Coordinate with Operations and Event Experience teams to ensure merchandise readiness Support Ticket Sales and Partnerships teams with merchandise-related activations as needed Communicate inventory needs and operational updates clearly to stakeholders Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in retail, merchandising, inventory management, or e-commerce preferred Experience in product and inventory management Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, and ideally Shopify or e-commerce platforms Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience in sports, entertainment, or live events preferred Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and events Ability to lift and move merchandise inventory as part of regular duties What We're Looking For Detail-oriented operators who take pride in organization and execution Reliable, proactive team members who support department success Individuals who enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving Strong communicators who thrive in a collaborative environment Compensation Structure This role includes: Base salary Variable compensation tied to merchandise sales performance and company results Benefits package Equal Opportunity Statement Carolina Core FC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
