The position will play a key role in ensuring samples are received, tracked, organized, and prepared for internal reviews, customer presentations, and line development needs. This role offers visibility into the full product lifecycle and is ideal for someone interested in exploring a career in apparel, textiles, or merchandising. Main Responsibilities Receive, unpack, tag, and organize incoming samples across multiple product categories Maintain and update sample tracking tools to ensure accurate visibility of sample status and location Prepare samples for internal meetings, line reviews, and customer presentations Coordinate sample movement between merchandising, design, and product development teams Assist with sample inventory management, including maintaining sample storage area Support merchandising team with basic administrative tasks related to product setup and organization Help ensure samples align with seasonal timelines and key milestones Assist with special projects as needed to support team initiatives Minimum Qualifications Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in apparel, textiles, merchandising, design, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Interest in apparel, product creation, and/or retail merchandising Ability to work on-site in Winston-Salem, NC three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) Availability during standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, some flexibility) Ability to lift and move sample boxes (up to ~25 lbs) as needed Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational environment (sample racks, inventory organization) Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the associate.
