Summary The Merchandising Stylist Support role plays a key part in bringing product stories to life through styling support, sample management, and product coordination. The Teammate in this role assists in outfitting development, supports the preparation of internal and external presentations, and ensures all samples and product assets are organized and aligned with business priorities. This Teammate bridges the creative and operational aspects of merchandising, helping deliver cohesive, trend-relevant assortments across various channels. Styling and Product Support Assist in the creation and coordination of seasonal outfitting boards and styling stories to support line reviews, strategy meetings, and visual direction. Collaborate with buyers, planners, and visual marketing teams to ensure product styling reflects key business drivers, trend relevance, and merchandising strategy. Partner with internal teams (e.g., creative, visual marketing, planning) to prepare styling assets, product callouts, and outfitting tools. Attend key meetings and presentations (e.g., product kick-offs, visual alignment sessions, campaign briefings) to provide styling input and support documentation. Assist with competitive shopping, trend research, and styling ideation to support seasonal product development and market insights. Sample Management and Operational Support Pull, organize, and track samples for internal presentations, marketing campaigns, and product reviews in alignment with the buy. Ensure the photoshoot room remains organized and efficient by maintaining racks, totes, and wall cubbies. Oversee seasonal updates, product cleanouts, and timely return of samples to support smooth creative operations. Support fit sessions and product reviews by organizing samples, taking notes, and documenting feedback on styling, fit, and construction. General Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit. Special projects and other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. One to two years of experience in retail, buying, merchandising, or styling support or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Key Competencies Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets and Slides) Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic understanding of retail assortments, seasonal buying cycles, and trend relevance Experience handling samples or managing sample inventory is a plus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
