Job Description
SAS Retail Services is seeking a Merchandiser to support retail operations for major retailers and brands. In this field-based role, you'll implement planograms, complete resets, set new items, and maintain shelves, displays, and signage to improve on-shelf availability and sales. You'll perform audits, capture photos, and report results using mobile tools while following detailed project directions and safety standards. Working in a people-first, team-oriented culture, you'll collaborate with store staff and teammates, manage your schedule across assigned stores, and gain hands-on experience with category execution and project-based work, with opportunities to grow into lead roles. Responsibilities Execute in-store merchandising for SAS Retail Services' retail clients, including planogram implementation, resets, and new item placement Set and maintain shelves, displays, pricing, and signage to ensure on-shelf availability and compliance with retailer standards Complete store audits, surveys, and photo documentation using mobile tools and reporting systems Follow detailed project directions, timelines, and store maps to complete work accurately and on schedule Collaborate with store staff, team leads, and fellow merchandisers to coordinate access, product, and equipment needs Safely use basic merchandising tools (e.g., shelving fixtures, pegboards, gondolas) and follow company safety procedures Travel between assigned stores, manage route plans, and adapt to changing priorities or special projects Communicate issues, out-of-stocks, and execution challenges to supervisors for timely resolution Maintain a professional, reliable presence that reflects SAS Retail Services' people-first, team-oriented culture Required Skills Planogram reading and implementation Retail merchandising execution Use of basic hand tools and fixtures Retail math and inventory basics Data/field reporting via mobile apps Time and route management Knowledge of safety procedures in retail environments Communication with store management Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
