Visual Merchandising Associate 91 Hegemans Ln, Glen Head, NY 11545 $19.50 - $24.00 an hour - Full-time $19.50 - $24.00 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Visual Merchandising, Shipping, and Receiving Specialist to support a small team of talented employees focused on the aesthetic and organization of gift items in our retail market. The merchandising department receives large quantities of boxes and is responsible for unpacking, checking in, pricing, displaying, and storing all items received. Throughout the day, the team checks the store, organizes, and restocks items on the floor that have been sold or misplaced. This demands sharp observation skills and careful attention to detail. This candidate should expect to be on their feet for most of the day, moving between spaces and around our market in a fast-paced environment. Duties Handle and unpack new merchandise deliveries as they arrive Price analysis of new items, including updating pricing spreadsheets for select companies Display new items in our retail market, and restock gift items throughout the day Document and report missing or damaged items with wholesale companies Coordinate outbound shipments, prepare shipping labels, and ensure timely dispatches Maintain organizational skills to keep work areas tidy, as well as product storage spaces Communicate clearly with team members regarding stock levels and display updates

Pay:

$19.50 - $24.00 per hour
