Job Description
The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a Traveling Retail Merchandiser to support Retail Operations for leading CPG brands and major retailers. In this field-based role, you will visit multiple stores to execute planograms, set and reset displays, maintain shelf standards, and ensure signage and promotions are accurately implemented. You'll collect in-store data, communicate with store teams, and help optimize shelf performance and shopper experience. This role is ideal for detail-oriented self-starters who enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment, on-the-go work, and building strong retail partnerships. Responsibilities Travel to assigned retail stores to execute merchandising programs and resets Implement and maintain planograms, displays, signage, and promotional sets Ensure shelves are stocked, tagged, and visually appealing to shoppers Capture in-store data, photos, and reports via mobile tools for analytics Communicate with store personnel and Retail Odyssey leads on priorities and issues Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and address out-of-stocks Support new product launches and seasonal or promotional sets Maintain company standards for branding, safety, and in-store execution quality Required Skills Retail merchandising Planogram reading and execution Shelf and display resets Point-of-sale (POS) and promotional setup Inventory checking and stock rotation Basic retail data/scan tracking Retail math and sales fundamentals Route planning and time management Customer and client communication Use of mobile merchandising/reporting apps
