In this role, you will be responsible for creating an inviting and organized deli section that attracts customers and enhances their shopping experience. Your expertise in visual merchandising, store management, and customer service will drive sales and promote our brand's reputation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in retail sales, merchandising, and interior design while contributing to a vibrant shopping environment. Duties Develop eye-catching displays using planograms and schematics to optimize product placement and maximize sales potential Manage inventory levels through effective stock management, inventory control, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure product availability Oversee daily merchandising operations including stocking, pricing, labeling, and cleaning of the deli area to maintain a fresh and appealing presentation Coordinate remodeling projects or interior design updates to enhance store aesthetics and functionality Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and cleanliness protocols while managing cash handling and retail math accuracy Foster excellent communication with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive shopping experience for customers Qualifications Proven supervising experience in retail or merchandising environments with leadership responsibilities Organizational skills necessary for inventory management, stock rotation, and time management in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of retail sales techniques, pricing strategies, POS systems, and retail math fundamentals Ability to train staff effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Administrative experience including cash handling, record keeping, and inventory control is highly desirable Join us as a Deli Merchandiser if you're passionate about creating engaging shopping environments!
