Job Summary:

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join our collaborative and well-established legal team. This role will provide critical legal support to the company's merchandise and proprietary (private label) brands initiatives, partnering closely with cross-functional business teams to drive efficient and compliant commercial outcomes. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions while managing complex transactions and competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel on complex business transactions supporting merchandise and private brand teams Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, merchandising, and development contracts Deliver timely, pragmatic legal advice aligned with business objectives Partner closely with merchandising, procurement, marketing, and product teams on initiatives impacting product sales and distribution Advise on legal risks and help develop practical solutions to support business strategies Manage and coordinate external counsel as needed Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations impacting merchandising, product development, and marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active State Bar membership in good standing 4+ years of relevant transactional legal experience Retail, fresh food, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience Familiarity with: Private label and branded products, Retail promotions and funding structures, Franchise relationships, Intellectual property matters, Product labeling, marketing, and regulatory requirements
