THE PURPOSE

The Merchandising Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping the True Religion merch team running smoothly by managing the small details of the merchandising team. This role is responsible for end-to-end sample management, purchase order administration, and cross-functional coordination to ensure product moves efficiently from concept to floor. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the merchandising team's daily operations and contribute to True Religion's continued growth by ensuring flawless execution of product tracking, vendor communication, and internal workflows.

THE ROLE

(what you are accountable for): Manage the full sample lifecycle, including requesting, receiving, tracking, organizing, and returning samples for all seasonal lines in coordination with vendors and design. Create, maintain, and update purchase orders (POs) in the company's systems, ensuring accuracy of style details, quantities, pricing, delivery dates, and vendor information. Maintain and update merchandising tools including line sheets, assortment grids, and seasonal trackers to reflect the most current product information. Partner with the planning, design, and production teams to ensure product data integrity across all internal systems and communicate changes or updates in a timely manner. Support the team in preparing for market appointments, trade shows, and internal line reviews by organizing samples, building presentation materials, and pulling relevant reports. Monitor and communicate product delivery timelines, flagging any PO discrepancies, delays, or issues to the appropriate cross-functional partners. Assist in building and maintaining vendor relationships by serving as a day-to-day point of contact for operational and logistical inquiries. Pull and analyze basic merchandising reports (e.g., sell-through, on-order, inventory) to support the team's decision-making and seasonal recaps. REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

0-2 years of experience in merchandising, buying, retail operations, or a related field Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and manage trackers, pivot tables, and basic formulas Experience with or ability to quickly learn PLM, ERP, or retail management systems Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across teams and with external vendors Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a proactive, can-do attitude Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

ADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $27-28/hour ($51,160 - $58,240 annually). This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This range represents the low and high ends of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. True Religion reasonably expects to pay within this range in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity.

Work Model:
