POSITION OVERVIEW
The Merchandising Department Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Merchandising Department as they develop customer centric trend right quality product assortments that meet our customer's sales metrics. The Merchandising Department Coordinator provides essential support to the members of the Merchandising Department while staying positive, keeping things moving, and helping to create an environment built on innovation and productivity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
The primary responsibilities and duties of this position are: Pro-actively complete, organize and own the process of tasks such as creating proposals, carding, ticketing and completion of product development sheets. Working with Merchandising Managers and cross functional team members to request and assemble all products and tools needed for presentations. Communicate clearly and regularly with the team; maintaining consistent dialog with managers on priorities, status of customer requests, and any road blocks that would affect the progression of a presentation or program. Overseeing the organization and upkeep of the sample room to ensure efficiency, accessibility, and cleanliness. Coordinates the ordering of supplies and materials needed to support departmental presentations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 1-3
years' experience in a visual and fashion related merchandising position, with a focus on positive results Experience in retail or consumer package goods Strong and clear communication skills Strong time management and prioritizing skills required as well as the ability to change focus based on customer demands Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines when necessary Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn AX Visit our
