Silver Recycling has been operating for over 100 years servicing the unique by-product needs of manufacturers in the southwest United States and Mexico. We are currently looking for a Scale Operator in Donna, TX.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Process all inbound and outbound paperwork to include but not limited to bill of lading, scale tickets, manifests, customs documents, packing lists, driver logs, tally sheets, etc. Ensures accuracy and distributes to various departments as required. Enters all required data into the ROM system. Conduct visual inspection and prepare trailer receiving reports for all inbound and outbound trailers, overseas containers, tractors or other vehicles. Prepares non-inventory scale tickets as required. Maintains a daily inventory report of all available trailers Prepares required customer photos for inbound and outbound shipments. Distributes any department related paperwork daily. Maintains and files trailer inspection forms Provided movement of open-top trailers for unloading at the appropriate areas by material classification. Coordinate the preparation of material for the sale to W. Silver Recycling Inc. customers and the necessary documentation to assure proper weight at scale versus load weights. Other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor. Physical Demands Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, climbs stairs, and moves continually during working hours. Is subject to lifting over 20 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary on a need basis. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school diploma. Preferred Education and Experience Warehouse experience, handling and sorting material Additional Eligibility Qualifications None for this position .
