Job Details Summary Our Merchandising Leads play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. The Merchandising Lead is responsible for overseeing the workflow of assigned merchandising teams. The Lead works closely with the Merchandising Supervisor to ensure customers receive excellent customer service. This position assists with training new Merchandisers as they learn the essential job functions. Key Responsibilities Oversee workflow of assigned merchandising team

Monitor and make recommendations regarding sales, delivery and merchandising service levels in the retail market place

Provide assistance with customer calls, complaints and issues in a timely manner

Maintain positive relationships and direct communication with store personnel, and sales and delivery teams

Work with Merchandising Supervisor to resolve customer service issues

Work with merchandising and sales team members on a continual basis to train, support and evaluate needs

Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with throughout your job

Rotate product on an ongoing basis

Assist with merchandising store as needed

Accurately clock in and out, adhering to state labor laws

Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations

Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times

Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned Key Competencies General knowledge of industry products

Effective organizational and time management skills

Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers

Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines Work Environment This job operates in our accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work. Physical Demands Lift/carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs.

Operate equipment Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary, and may include weekends and overtime as necessary. Travel Local travel only Required Education and Experience Minimum of 18 years of age

High school diploma or GED required

Valid driver's license and auto insurance required

Must be able to own/operate a mobile smart phone device Preferred Education and Experience Previous grocery or retail experience

Six (6) months merchandising experience Compensation Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
