About the Role You will own merchandise strategy for the entire Dumos network — what we carry, how it is priced, how it is presented, and how inventory flows from our global supply chain to the sales floor. You define the assortment architecture that scales from our California base to a national fleet, and you are the referee between what factories want to push and what stores can actually sell. Responsibilities Own assortment planning across the network: SKU selection, category mix, and seasonal planning Set company-wide pricing, promotion, and markdown strategy to balance sell-through and margin Develop planograms and space allocation standards that scale across store formats; partner with store operations on execution Build demand forecasts and replenishment plans; coordinate directly with our overseas supply chain team on purchasing and inbound flow Establish a data-driven SKU review cycle: identify winners to scale and underperformers to exit Analyze sales, sell-through, and inventory data to guide weekly merchandising decisions across the fleet Requirements 5+ years in retail buying, merchandise planning, or category management; off-price or home goods background preferred (e.g., TJX, Ross, At Home), or cross-border e-commerce merchandising experience transitioning to physical retail Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel and comfort working directly with sales data Bilingual Mandarin/English strongly preferred (direct collaboration with overseas supply chain teams) Growth mindset: excited to build a merchandising function that scales nationally, not maintain an established one Authorized to work in the United States Dumos Home Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
