The Merchandiser / Golf Shop Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Golf Shop retail operation. Experience Required Previous golf course experience and/or merchandising experience preferred. Passion for providing exceptional member service and hospitality. Essential Responsibilities Lead all aspects of Golf Shop merchandising and retail operations. Develop and execute annual merchandise buying plans and seasonal assortments. Build strong relationships with leading golf apparel, equipment, and accessory vendors. Manage inventory levels, purchasing, receiving, pricing, and markdown strategies. Create attractive visual displays that reflect current trends and enhance the member shopping experience. Monitor sales performance and analyze inventory turns, margins, and product mix. Coordinate special orders and member events. Plan and execute trunk shows, vendor events, and seasonal merchandise promotions. Oversee Golf Shop presentation, cleanliness, and organization. Manage daily point-of-sale operations and ensure accurate inventory controls. Assist with tournament merchandising, prize selection, and gift programs. Work closely with the Golf Professional Staff to support member events and daily golf operations.
