Responsibilities:
Specific Skills Needed
  • Experience in visual merchandising, sample coordination, showroom operations, retail, wholesale, apparel, or a related environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain an orderly and well-presented showroom and sample area.
  • Keen eye for visual merchandising and product presentation, with the ability to dress and maintain the showroom to a high standard.
  • Comfortable receiving, unpacking, sorting, steaming, hanging, folding, organizing, and preparing apparel for professional presentations.
  • Ability to follow merchandising direction, assortment plans, and catalogs.
  • Comfortable maintaining and tracking samples, including organizing product, returning samples to their correct locations, and identifying missing or misplaced items.
  • Ability to pack and ship samples to Sales team members and accounts with appropriate care and professional presentation.
  • Able to reset racks, and table top with product following account meetings and maintain showroom standards throughout the selling season.
  • Able to prioritize multiple requests, work efficiently within deadlines, and adapt to changing Sales and Product team needs.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to identify merchandising, organization, and showroom needs without requiring constant direction.
  • Collaborative, dependable, and comfortable supporting multiple Sales and Product team members.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance appropriate for a customer-facing wholesale showroom environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and general computer systems.
  • Able to manipulate PowerPoint word presentations if needed.
  • Experience with apparel strongly preferred. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move samples, boxes, and materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable moving rolling racks, unpacking and packing boxes, dressing mannequins, steaming garments, and organizing product.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and work at varying heights when organizing racks, shelving, fixtures, and sample storage.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the showroom/work floor for extended periods when required.
