  • $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Location:
Flexible / Field-Based / Hybrid (based on project needs) Job Summary The Project Manager at Signature Retail Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing retail merchandising and light construction projects for national big-box retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe's, and Walmart. This role manages projects from initiation through close-out across multiple locations while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and retailer standards are consistently met. The Project Manager serves as a primary liaison between clients, store leadership, vendors, and field teams while setting the example for professionalism, reliability, and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism at all times Lead by example and uphold company standards in the field Mentor, train, and develop team members and future leaders Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from kickoff through completion Develop critical path schedules using store walks and project blueprints Support scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation Utilize internal systems and client platforms (e.g., MLX) to track progress Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and reporting Manage labor hours, overtime, and overall project expenses Ensure projects remain within approved budgets Identify potential risks and resolve project challenges efficiently Adapt quickly to changing project needs and field conditions Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time project completion Adherence to project budgets Effective overtime (OT) management Retailer compliance and reporting accuracy Quality execution and reduction of rework Customer satisfaction Safety compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of proven project management experience in retail merchandising or construction Experience working in big-box retail environments Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and locations concurrently Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Willingness and ability to travel as required, including overnight stay
