Automotive Parts Job Overview:

Our company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and restocking automotive parts in our warehouse. They will also maintain inventory accuracy, organize stock, and be actively pulling tickets, putting up parts, or doing BIN scans and ensure timely delivery of parts to the sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work independently, and have excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, verify and restock automotive parts in the warehouse Ensure that all parts are labeled and organized correctly Use inventory management software to update inventory levels and track shipments Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments Work closely with the sales team to ensure that parts are available for customers Conduct regular inventory checks to identify and address any discrepancies Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend ways to improve sales Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed Keep the warehouse clean and organized Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent 2+ years of experience in an auto parts or warehouse environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy Proficient in inventory management software Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills Must pass a drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of automotive parts and systems Experience with shipping and receiving Experience with barcoding and RFID technology This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
