Position Summary:
The Powersports Parts & Accessory Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts and accessories needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a smooth sales process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of powersports vehicles, a customer-focused attitude, act as a intradepartmental liaison between both the Sales Team and the Service Team, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assess their needs regarding powersports parts and accessories. Provide knowledgeable recommendations for parts, accessories, and upgrades based on customer inquiries and vehicle specifications. Assist customers in identifying, sourcing, and ordering parts, accessories, and aftermarket products. Maintain an organized and efficient parts department, including restocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring the part ordering system is up to date. Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts needed for repairs and maintenance. Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and manufacturer announcements to provide customers with the most relevant information. Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims professionally and according to company policy.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in parts sales, retail, or customer service, preferably in the powersports industry. Strong knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and powersports accessories. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems, and inventory management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary. Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and accessories (up to 50 lbs). Standing for extended periods and working in a retail environment.
