Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Parts Specialist, where your expertise will drive the seamless operation of our automotive parts department. In this energetic role, you will be the key link between customers, technicians, and suppliers, ensuring that the right parts are available at the right time to keep vehicles running smoothly. Your passion for automotive repair and exceptional customer service will help us deliver top-tier service and build lasting relationships with our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in inventory management, sales, and automotive diagnostics within a fast-paced dealership environment. Duties Assist customers and technicians by accurately identifying and sourcing automotive parts using inventory management systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts shelves to ensure optimal availability and organization. Process sales transactions efficiently through POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing excellent customer service and product knowledge. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals, supporting dealership profitability. Handle order fulfillment by preparing parts for delivery or pickup, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch. Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, sales, and order history using Microsoft Excel and dealership software. Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and organizational skills to address inquiries promptly. Experience Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory effectively using CMMS or similar systems. Experience with retail sales management, including cashiering, stock management, and retail math calculations. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Familiarity with automotive service procedures, marketing strategies, and dealership operations enhances success in this role. Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
