Parts Manager Position Summary Texarkana Tractor Company manages thirteen dealerships, comprised of ten Kubota dealerships and three New Holland dealerships throughout east Texas and central Arkansas. The Parts Sales II position is responsible for providing advanced parts sales support and customer service for agricultural equipment customers, technicians, and internal departments. This role serves as an experienced parts professional capable of handling complex parts lookups, inventory coordination, technical product support, and sales transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position acts as a key resource within the parts department by supporting daily parts operations, improving inventory availability, assisting in mentoring entry-level parts personnel, and contributing to departmental sales growth and operational performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Sales & Service Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with identifying and purchasing the correct parts for agricultural equipment and related products. Provide professional counter, phone, and electronic support for customer parts inquiries. Recommend replacement parts, maintenance items, upgrades, and complementary products to support equipment uptime. Build strong customer relationships through responsive service and technical product knowledge. Support customer retention through accurate order fulfillment and issue resolution. Promote aftermarket sales opportunities and value-added parts solutions. Parts Identification & Technical Support Research and source parts using OEM catalogs, electronic parts systems, diagrams, and technical manuals. Handle advanced, hard-to-find, obsolete, or cross-reference part requests. Verify parts compatibility for tractors, implements, hay equipment, compact construction equipment, small engines, and related machinery. Support service technicians by identifying and supplying parts needed for timely repairs. Assist in diagnosing parts needs based on customer descriptions, equipment models, and service requirements. Coordinate special orders, back orders, substitutions, and emergency sourcing. Sales Transactions & Order Processing Process parts sales orders, invoices, credits, returns, and warranty-related transactions accurately. Manage special order documentation, deposits, and customer follow-up. Ensure proper pricing, discounts, tax handling, and documentation compliance. Resolve shipping discrepancies, order errors, and customer concerns in a timely manner. Support parts quoting for customers, service work orders, and fleet accounts. Inventory Management Receive, inspect, stock, label, and organize incoming inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and transaction controls. Monitor inventory levels and provide replenishment recommendations based on demand and stocking needs. Assist with inventory adjustments, obsolescence review, and stock order preparation. Maintain showroom, warehouse, parts storage organization standards. Support annual physical inventory processes. Team Support & Department Operations Support and train Parts Sales I team members in systems, procedures, and product knowledge. Serve as a resource for resolving complex parts-related issues. Collaborate with service, sales, and management teams to support dealership operations. Assist with departmental process improvements and workflow efficiency. Maintain compliance with company procedures, safety policies, and operational standards. Qualifications Required High school diploma or
GED. 2-4
years of experience in agricultural parts sales, automotive parts, heavy equipment parts, or related industry. Valid driver's license. Basic to intermediate computer proficiency and data entry skills. Ability to read parts diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Preferred Experience with agricultural equipment brands and product lines. Experience using dealership parts inventory software, ERP, or OEM systems. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification). Knowledge of inventory control practices and dealership operations. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing. Ability to work at a parts counter, in warehouse storage areas, and outdoor receiving areas. Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks when certified. Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions. Work Environment Agricultural equipment dealership parts department. Combination of retail counter, warehouse, and shop support environment. Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction and time-sensitive demands. Regular interaction with customers, technicians, vendors, and internal departments. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
