Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented HVAC Parts Manager to oversee the inventory, procurement, and distribution of HVAC parts and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC systems, warehouse operations, and inventory management, as well as excellent customer service and multitasking skills. This position plays a critical role in ensuring technicians have the correct parts to complete jobs efficiently, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and company success.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory of HVAC parts and supplies. Perform regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments. Organize and maintain warehouse layout for efficient storage and access. Purchasing & Vendor Relations Source, order, and track parts from vendors and suppliers. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing. Review invoices and reconcile with purchase orders. Technician Support Issue parts to HVAC technicians and log disbursements. Prepare and stage parts for scheduled service and installation jobs. Research and identify hard-to-find parts or replacements. Customer Service & Communication Assist internal and external customers with part inquiries. Communicate with technicians, service managers, and office staff regarding parts status and availability. Address issues or delays in a professional and timely manner. Software & Reporting Use multiple software systems to manage inventory, orders, returns, and vendor accounts. Generate and review reports on parts usage, inventory levels, and purchase history. Keep accurate records for warranty returns and defective items.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, parts management, or warehouse operations. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and common parts. Experience with inventory software and CRM platforms (e.g., ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, Excel, or similar). Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Forklift certification is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, bending, and walking in warehouse environment. Use of computer, phone, and other standard office equipment.

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
