Start time is 5 am outside of that schedule is flexible. No nights ~ no weekends! Job Description Purchasing and monitoring of parts, tools and equipment requested by the Maintenance Department and assigning appropriate budget account numbers. Supervising the receipt, proper storage, and security of all aircraft parts, tools, supplies and equipment. Preserving articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration and shelf-life specifications. Ensuring parts incoming inspections have been accomplished on aircraft parts and components received according to the RSM. Conducting and supervising inventory spot checks for accuracy of records. Ensuring that aircraft parts are properly tagged and identified as required by the RSM. Verifying that applicable materials and components used in the Maintenance Department are accurately requisitioned by problem description and -quantity and that all applicable paperwork accompanies the work order. Performing duties of Inventory Technician. Dispensing and tracking support equipment, specialized tooling and expendable items used by Aircraft Maintenance Department. Ensuring that tests and calibrations are performed on special tools and equipment as required, and that current records are maintained of those -tests and calibrations. Inventorying and restocking of expendable materials. Maintaining the aircraft hardware cabinet. Assuring that adequate levels of FAA/PMA approved hardware are maintained. Ensuring that tools and support equipment are returned in good working order. Performing other duties as required. Qualifications Must be knowledgeable and capable of using Microsoft Office Suite at an Intermediate Level Must be able to read and understand English Must be able to obtain certification on forklift Strong typing skills Ability to maintain good working relationship with customers, co-workers and FAA agencies. Good written and verbal communication skills. Drug and alcohol testing as required by UND Aerospace Anti-Drug Program Valid driver's license. Ability to move and lift bulky or heavy objects up to 75 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Prefer at least 2 years inventory experience. Prefer General Aviation experience. Prefer previous formal course work in maintenance management, or related area.
