Job Description

Job Summary As a Parts Specialist, you will be the vital link between our dealership and our customers, ensuring they receive the right automotive parts and accessories to keep their vehicles running smoothly. Your energetic and customer-focused approach will help drive sales, manage inventory efficiently, and provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your automotive knowledge and organizational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles, providing detailed product information and recommendations. Manage inventory levels using inventory control systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring stock accuracy and timely replenishment. Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and card payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to fulfill orders promptly, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and delivery. Maintain organized stock shelves, perform stocking duties, and conduct regular inventory audits to prevent shortages or overstocking. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist with vehicle repair questions and troubleshooting when needed. Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. Skills Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes. Excellent negotiation skills to upsell parts and accessories while maintaining customer satisfaction. Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, retail math, and POS systems. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with dealership operations, retail sales, marketing strategies, and automotive service environments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control, order processing, and record keeping. Effective communication skills for engaging with customers, team members, and vendors professionally. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
