Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Hoehn Motors is seeking an entry level Clerk within our clerical department. This position reports to the Business Office Managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
:
Vehicle Payoffs:
Process payoff requests for newly acquired inventory vehicles in a timely manner and reconcile schedule.
Transfer & Release of Liabilities:
Prepare and track release of liabilities.
Wholesales:
Post wholesales in our accounting system. Transfer titles, track funding status. Reconcile schedule.
Toll Violations:
Receive, research, and process toll violation notices; coordinate with appropriate store personnel to identify responsible vehicles and parties; ensure timely payment or dispute resolution. Stock in
Inventory:
Stock in all inventory, checking inventory jackets for accuracy, and filing. Maintain organized and complete payoff files in accordance with dealership recordkeeping standards. Assist with additional work as needed. Assist with month-end schedule reconciliations as needed.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
: Prior dealership experience preferred.
TECHNOLOGICAL APTITUDE
General computer, email, and word processing skills Ability to become quickly proficient in using various software and web-based systems, especially the Dealership's Management System and the Manufacturer's service-related systems. Ability to become quickly proficient using the dealership's telephone system
LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to write reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as Accounting procedures general business communications safety rules training material Ability to effectively explain problems and/or areas of opportunity to management. Ability to communicate courteously, professionally, and effectively over the telephone when needed.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions given in written or oral form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to successfully adapt to changing requirements from either the dealership or the manufacturer.
