This role focuses on building relationships with customers, wholesalers, auctions, and online leads to identify acquisition opportunities while maximizing profitability and maintaining inventory standards. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about current automotive market trends and vehicle values. Duties Customer trade-ins Service drive opportunities Private-party purchases Online buying platforms Contact and follow up with customers interested in selling or trading vehicles. Conduct vehicle appraisals using market data, vehicle history reports, and dealership valuation tools. Negotiate purchase prices and present competitive offers. Maintain daily communication with potential sellers and dealership customers. Monitor local market trends, pricing, and inventory demands. Work closely with the sales and management teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Accurately complete acquisition paperwork and ensure compliance with dealership policies. Utilize CRM systems to track leads, follow-ups, and acquisition activities. Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
